Recreation Ministry A strong unity is vital for the church to make the impact that God desires in the community. We have been blessed with a Family Life Center which allows for basketball, volleyball and other indoor activities.Therefore, Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church offers various recreation activities throughout the year to promote fellowship. One of the the major recreational opportunities that LABC provides is Upward Basketball.Upward Basketball is a Christ-centered program that "promotes character and self-esteem in every child." This is accomplished by providing equal playing time for each player and evaluations that ensure equal teams and equal opportunity for improvement. The season lasts from December through February, with an awards ceremony in March.
